The Believe 208 5K Run for the Brave & Finest will take place in East Hartford on Sunday, September 29, 2025. This annual race honors the memory of East Hartford Police Officer Paul Buchanan and supports the Believe 208 initiative, in partnership with the Connecticut Alliance to Benefit Law Enforcement (CABLE).
Believe 208 offers resources, training, and guidance to support the health and well-being of emergency personnel. Its mission is to highlight the unique challenges they face and provide assistance to these professionals, their families and the neighborhoods they serve.
The event proceeds help supply emergency workers with the training, education, and resources they need to continue serving and safeguarding their communities.
