Senator Saud Anwar Visits Orion Protective Services to Support Military Initiative

Orion Protective Services recently had the privilege of hosting Senator Saud Anwar of Connecticut’s 3rd District for a meaningful meeting. As a veteran-owned company, Orion is dedicated to supporting those who have served by providing valuable employment opportunities and specialized programs.

Senator Anwar learned about Orion’s new program designed to assist active-duty military members and veterans as they transition back into civilian life.

A key component of Orion’s efforts includes the creation of the ‘Boots to Badges’ program, which provides reimbursement toward the costs related to becoming a licensed professional security guard, which are $160 in Connecticut and $40 in Massachusetts. This program helps reduce financial barriers for veterans pursuing careers in security.

Senator Anwar expressed his appreciation for the work Orion is doing and his interest in collaborating to strengthen support for our service members. Link to message from Senator Anwar: (1) Had a powerful meeting with the team at Orion… – Senator Saud Anwar | Facebook
